She transforms into various forms (transformation Kannon) and serves as Amida's attendant. The drops of water flowing from the water jar depicted on the left page are water of compassion poured onto the newborn baby at her feet.

The painting on the right page shows her feet resting on lotus flowers, also indicating the path to salvation. She holds two babies in her arms and is a truly active figure.
